    Unit Description

    This unit specifies the competencies required by the trainer to facilitate the training of exploring construction industry. It involves understanding nature and form of construction industry, explaining nature of management and organisation, identifying office procedures, comprehending site layout, explaining roles and types of contracts.

    Throughout the course, students will engage in discussion, collaborative projects, and case studies to apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios. By the end of this unit, participants will have gained a practical and comprehensive skill set that enables them to understand, explain, and manage construction industries. This course is ideal for educators, instructional designers, and anyone interested in the dynamic field of construction industry.

    Assessment for learning will comprise of ;

    75% and above class attendance

    CAT 1 – 30%

    CAT 2 – 30%

    Case Study project-40%

     End of Term Examinations – 100%
